I did too. When I was 13 I had serious acne and I was on medication for it. I was hoping it would go away. It was effecting my self-esteem, my health, and my relationships with those around me. I felt unworthy and ugly.

That’s when I discovered a few diet rules that changed my life forever. They are the 7 diet rules to naturally treat and get rid of acne forever! When I tell most people the story of how I had serious acne, they don’t believe me – because my skin is so beautiful and clear now. And yours can be too if you follow the 7 diet rules of acne!

Acne Diet Rule #1. Eat More Fiber Every Day

Fiber is a key to getting rid of acne. Why?

Because acne is caused by a build-up of toxins in the body. When your body is unable to eliminate these toxins efficiently through your digestive system, they leak into your blood stream and must be removed through the skin – causing acne, zits and pimples.

When you get at least 30g of fiber every day, you will be much more regular (that’s a good thing!) and your body will naturally remove these toxins through your digestive system and will no longer need to do so through your skin.

The best way to add more fiber is to switch to ONLY eating whole grains and to add more fresh, raw fruits and vegetables to your diet. Try adding a big salad every day and you’ll see your zits and pimples disappear.

Acne Diet Rule #2. Avoid Peanuts

Peanuts have long been associated with acne in numerous clinical studies. Just avoid them altogether, especially processed peanut butters. For some reason, when you eat peanuts it tends to dramatically increase your likelihood of acne outbreaks. Instead of peanut butter, try using the much healthier almond butter.

Acne Diet Rule #3. Eliminate Added Salts from Your Diet

Avoid all table salt, especially iodized salt. The average American gets more than 40 TIMES MORE SALT than we need. This excess salt causes imbalances and toxin build-up, leading to more zits and pimples.

Say goodbye to the table salt and avoid all lunch meats, processed meats, processed foods, chips, and canned foods which all contain excess salt. Not only will this help your acne clear up, it’ll help you maintain a healthy weight and avoid other diseases as well.

Acne Diet Rule #4. Avoid All Dairy Products

Dairy has long been associated with acne and other inflammatory disease. Most people are allergic to milk whether they know it or not. The milk is hard to digest and causes toxin build-up which again results in acne outbreaks.

Acne Diet Rule #5. Eat Only Unprocessed Complex Carbohydrates

Eat only veggies, fruits, berries, nuts, beans and legumes, and seeds. Cut out all the soda, cakes, cookies, candies, white flour, etc. These processed foods again simply cause toxin build-up in the body. Eliminating these foods alone will often clear up acne more than 60% of the time.

Acne Diet Rule #6. Avoid Fried Foods

Fried foods likewise are loaded with toxins from the oxidized fats. These fried fats damage the body, increase your toxic load, and contribute to the formation of zits and pimples. Say no to the french fries!

Acne Diet Rule #7. Take a Natural Fruit and Vegetable Supplement
